I guess we can use this on a preload page to cache as3 assets. 

 ie 
preload.html 
  _as2 preload assets (AS3.swfs)
     _onComplete ( getURL( "next.html" )
next.html
  _AS3 assets

Thanks i love this class. I train my students to use it in managing their flash frameworks.
